One stamped & tested 10KT yellow gold lady's hand fabricated cameo pendant-pin with a original finish. The carved Shell Cameo Pendant-Pin is Circa 1837-1901, the Victorian period. The piece measures 26.8 mm X 22.0 mm at the outside twisted wire-work frame. The shell cameo measures 20.66 mm X 15.87 mm, is designed as a Classical Woman, and is set in a bezel frame. The piece has folded flat-wire detailing between the inner and outer twisted wire-work detailing. The early designed, flat curved safety clasp is stamped 10K. The bail has a swivel and fold-away design, so as to have it disappear when worn as a pin. Condition is excellent.
